Colin Johnson

Colin Johnson is currently the Men's Head Basketball Coach at Cal Maritime University (Cal Poly) and also serves as a coach with the NorCal Pharaohs. Before taking the helm at Cal Maritime, he was the Head Coach of the boys' team at Antelope Valley, where he led the Pioneers to a California Pacific Conference regular-season championship and secured a spot in the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship.

During their remarkable postseason run, the No. 20-ranked Pioneers advanced to the Round of 32, finishing the 2021-22 season with an impressive 26-3 record—setting a new program high. The team also established three new Cal Pac single-season records: total wins, point differential (+13.9), and points per game (83.7).

As UAV's head assistant coach, Johnson was instrumental in overseeing the program's scouting, recruiting, player development initiatives, and managing its video services.



Known for his ability to maximize his teams' on-court potential, Patrick has built a stellar coaching career, having led Western New England to its second semifinal appearance in the last decade, Springfield Commonwealth Academy to its first-ever Power 5 Conference title, and the University of West Georgia to a No. 24 national ranking and a deep playoff run.
