Will Fitzpatrick

Will Fitzpatrick played collegiate basketball for Sacramento State from 2019 to 2022. In the 2021-2022 season, he started all 28 games, served as co-captain, and was the team’s third-leading scorer with 9.8 points per game. He ranked first in the Big Sky Conference for 3-pointers made (3.3 per game) and fifth in shooting percentage (43%). His overall 3-point shooting percentage of .407 was the 27th best in the nation among players with at least 2.5 makes per game. He made 79 of 194 attempts, the eighth-most in a single season in program history, and the third-most in the Div. I era (1991-present). Fitzpatrick finished his career shooting .408 (138-338) from three, ranking eighth in program history and sixth in the Div. I era.
Before Sacramento State, Will played at Folsom Lake College after a freshman season at Case Western Reserve University in 2017-2018. At Folsom Lake, he earned all-Big 8 Conference honors as a sophomore. A 2017 graduate of Vista Del Lago High School in Folsom, California, he played three varsity seasons, earning all-league and all-metro recognition as a junior and senior, while helping his team win two Capital Athletic League championships and achieve a 46-19 record.
Will’s father played baseball for Sacramento State from 1990-93 and still ranks among the Hornets' all-time leaders in several Div. I statistical categories, including first in walks, tied for second in home runs, and third in RBIs.
