Amond Armstead
Armond Armstead is a former defensive tackle who played for both the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He began his football journey at the University of Southern California (USC), where he showcased his talent on the collegiate level.

Armstead’s high school football career at Pleasant Grove High in Elk Grove, California, was equally impressive. He earned numerous honors, including being named a Super Prep All-American, Prep Star All-American, and Super Prep All-Farwest. Additionally, he was recognized as a Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West honorable mention and earned spots on the Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team. He also made All-Northern California and Sacramento Bee All-Metro teams, and was named the All-Metro League MVP for his standout performances as both a defensive and offensive lineman in his senior year.

Armond’s athleticism runs in the family. His brother, Arik Armstead, played college football at Oregon and currently plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL.
